In January of 2005, soon after graduating college, Ben realized there was a need for a friendly custom apparel business to represent the east coast. He drove from college to college working to gain their business; a pitchman boasting how he could fulfill any size order. It was an order for a friend's college sorority that launched his business. Soon afterward, with a single reference of quality service, Ben began to contact local elementary schools, colleges, and small businesses, offering to design and print t-shirts, and other promotional products.

Word quickly spread of excellent customer service and the easy ordering process of Avenue Z Graphics, including free graphic design on all orders. Within a few short months, Avenue Z Graphics was receiving calls from schools, colleges and businesses across the country. Avenue Z Graphics now works Fortune 500 companies creating custom marketing solutions while maintaining the same personal relationship that made their business so attractive in the beginning.

The name "Avenue Z Graphics" originated from Avenue Z in Brooklyn, New York. Benjamin's father, Paul, grew up on Avenue Z near Coney Island in the 1950's and early 60's. Paul's father Benjamin sold wholesale paper products to small businesses throughout New York City.
