About Us

Avenue Z Graphics was started by Benjamin Adelson because he perceived the need for an easy to use and friendly custom apparel business. In January, 2005 Avenue Z Graphics, Inc. was created in Charlotte, NC. Initially, Ben would contact local elementary schools, colleges, and small businesses, offering to design and print t-shirts and other apparel items. Ben drove from college to college in his '88 Honda Accord, and made stops at colleges and companies throughout the East Coast hoping to gain their business.

Word quickly spread of the excellent customer service and easy ordering process of Avenue Z Graphics, including free graphic design on all orders. Through his perseverance and focused hard work, Avenue Z Graphics was receiving calls from around the country from schools, colleges and large businesses. Today Avenue Z Graphics works with companies across the country based out of their Raleigh, NC office.

What's in a Name?

The name “Avenue Z Graphics” originated from Avenue Z in Brooklyn, New York. Benjamin's father, Paul, grew up on Avenue Z near Coney Island in the 1950's and early 60's. Benjamin's grandfather (for whom Benjamin was named) spent his entire working life in sales, from being a small shop owner selling wholesale paper products to small businesses. He was a hardworking, honest and kind man who cared about his customers as well as being loving and dedicated to his family.” Avenue Z graphics” strives to carry on the values of his family, who evolved through struggles and successes on Avenue Z. Thereby the title of the company.

Our guiding principle has been to make a quality product that our customers will proudly wear and display to their friends and family.. The best part of our ordering process is that we are always accessible for our customer. If a client wants to call us about a design, or ask for a price quote we will gladly accommodate them. We want our customers to be completely satisfied and we will make every effort to accommodate this goal. Avenue Z Graphics makes ordering very simple. Send us an email with the quantity of promo products or apparel you are interested in ordering. Include the design and any other necessary information. Our graphic design team will contact you with a proof within 2 business days. If the customer is 100% satisfied we will print that design on the item. If you need assistance with your design, send us an idea or theme and we will come up with a design free of charge.. We have the capability to special order any size of any kind of garment or item available. Our prices are usually 10-15% lower than other providers because of our all- inclusive pricing. The typical turnaround time is 10 business days from the time we receive approval and payment.
